On the eve of the first Test between England and West Indies, the CWC held an inaugural student social at Sixes Shepherd’s Bush to strengthen the ties between the younger members of the club and those with more experience.
It was an evening designed to allow our student members to pick the brains of our established journalists and ask any question they wanted in an informal setting, with a bit of (dodgy) cricket being played in the background.
We had 10 student members along for the evening who took advantage of the knowledge and experiences of Will Macpherson, Rory Dollard, Sonia Twigg, Adam Collins, and chair Dean Wilson across the evening.
Huge thanks to Sixes Shepherd’s Bush and their venue manager Garfield who looked after us so brilliantly.
We will surely be back.
