The Cricket Media Club cricket team played its first fixture of the summer against The Cricket Society XI on Monday, May 20 at Shepperton Cricket Club.
The Cricket Society posted a total of 201/8 from 35 overs before our side was bowled out for 119. An enjoyable day out, except for perhaps our very own Andrew Miller, who took a remarkable catch off his own bowling, described by Adam Collins as “a stunner at any level of the game”, but in doing so suffered a compound fracture in three bones, and an open fracture at the fingertip, resulting in a long night at A&E!
Please enjoy the gallery of the day, with photos kindly provided by TCS XI’s Peter Short and CMC’s Andrew Miller.
